Narrow Leaf Papalo
$4.00
Product Description:
If you love Cilantro, you have to try Papalo!
This ancient herb has been used for centuries in Mexico and Central America. Its tender, non-fibrous leaves deliver a bold, vibrant flavor — with notes of cilantro, citrus, and a hint of anise.
Papalo is a heat-loving plant and an excellent substitute for cilantro (a.k.a. Coriander), especially in warm climates where cilantro tends to bolt quickly. Papalo thrives in part to full sun and is delicious in salads, salsas, guacamole, chili — really, anywhere you’d normally use cilantro. Its strong flavor means just a few leaves go a long way!
While most Papalo varieties have rounder leaves, this one features slightly narrower, more elongated foliage.
Grow Papalo as annuals for your heat loving garden, and save seeds to regrow. Grows well in ground and containers.
