How to Use
The juice of the leaves are extracted using a blender then strained to mix with coconut milk. It is also what gives the green coloring in most South East Asian dessert.  Leaves can be dried for tea as well.

How to Grow
Pandan grows best in warm, filtered light.  It is not cold hardy so it will need to be brought inside when weather is below 55F.  They can be grown in full shade, or shade from afternoon sun.  Although it is not necessary, but Pandan really enjoys humidity.  Place a tray with some rocks and water then place the pot on top.  Keep soil moist, or water the tray to allow the plant to intake as much water as it needs.
